Ear infections can be caused by a blocked eustachian tube. The eustachian tube is most commonly blocked from tight muscles. If you can get these muscles to relax many times it will allow the eustachian tube to open up and drain. One of the muscles that can block the eustachian tube is attached to the first vertebrae in your neck. When we adjust the first vertebrae in the neck it can allow that muscle to relax and that can result in the ear draining. If you are struggling with recurrent ear infections or even your first ear infection give chiropractic a try.
